Description

A sci-fi/fantasy continuity adventure strip opening on a post-apocalyptic Earth in the year 2080.

The eponymous heroine, Axa is determined to leave the sanitised and restrictive Domed City, to seek freedom in the untamed wilderness outside.  Up against the efforts of her fellow City dwellers she escapes into the outside wilderness, and there begins the start of a series of thrilling adventures…..

The strip mixes elements of science fiction, sword-swinging barbarian tales and Axa’s indisputable glamour!

Enrique Badía Romero (who signs his work simply Romero; born 24 April 1930) is a Spanish comics artist, best known to English-speaking audiences for his work on Modesty Blaise. He is also the co-creator of the post-apocalyptic science fiction strip AXA, as well as a substantial body of work in his native Spain.

AXA The Movie is currently in development. Unizarre (UK) and PenguinFilms (Sweden) are working with strategic partners worldwide to bring AXA to the big screens.
